This place was a really cool vibe. They had hookah and good food and drinks. It’s a nice intimate place and was great on open Mic night, there were some amazing singers.

If it weren’t for parking being so scarce, the score would be higher. That’s the worst part of all, when it comes to Skewers. The parking is VERY LIMITED! If you like Hookah, good food (especially wings), drinks and live music, it’s definitely where you want to be.

The crowd may be “sketchy” for some, if you don’t frequent the establishment on a regular basis, but it’s a laid back crowd. Can definitely get super packed because of its size, a slight negative, but I love the atmosphere though.

My lady and I decided to celebrate our birthday in the states capital and came across this smalle gem of the city. We had a great time! We ate, we danced and we drank while enjoying a tastey shrimp basket while the sweet smell of hookah enhanced the ambiance and the DJ played the latest and greatest hits. We had a ball!

Nice crowd on a Friday, that was my first time on a Friday night. Security made themselves known and we felt secure. The food was good, really can’t go wrong with wings or tenders.

Skewers has great service, even the bouncers out front are very professional. They have great food options. I especially like that you can order their food late late at night. They are always busy and everyone seems to love this place.
