So delicious. I got the 1/4 chicken with beans and steamed yucca. The chicken was super moist and well-seasoned, but for me, the yucca stole the show. It was served in a tangy garlic dressing that was unexpected and just fantastic. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be back.

One of the best Alpacas. They don’t have tiny chickens, or skimp on portion size, or not let you have limes like other locations I’ve been to. Their food has been consistently the best out of the locations I have been to over the years. I love the sauces and there is nothing I’ve had quite like their charcoal rotisserie chicken. They also have some of the best fries I have had.

Great place. The Chicken is incredibly good. The price are reasonable and you get a nice portion. You won’t leave unsatisfied.

If you are hungry, this is where you want to go.
Food is simple and honest and actually very very tasty. Great value. Huge quantities. Chicken is well seasoned and delicious. Even the breast is juicy, so don’t shy away from”white” meet. The sides of rice and salad are very decent too (I only had the rice and salad). The cilantro vinaigrette is very nice.
The ambiance is nothing incredible but for the price range, this is the best place to eat in Durham.
Another amazing feature is the cleaning process. Roasted chicken is messy to eat because inevitably you will use your hands. These guys have a very practical set up for cleaning after yourself, they provide wet wipes with which you can clean the table.
    I loved this particular feature.
Alpaca is my favorite place for food in Durham.
